SlimeSMP Minecraft Server Guide
SlimeSMP is a community-focused Minecraft server that combines challenging survival gameplay with a wide selection of popular mods. Built around the Tensura: Reincarnated modpack, the server expands the traditional Minecraft experience by introducing RPG mechanics, powerful abilities, new progression systems, and additional technical content that encourages both exploration and large-scale building.
Rather than offering a standard survival world, SlimeSMP creates an environment where players can develop unique characters, construct advanced bases, automate production lines, and participate in regular community activities. The server welcomes newcomers while still providing enough depth for experienced Minecraft players looking for long-term progression.
Frequent updates and active administration help keep gameplay balanced, while community events give players fresh objectives beyond ordinary survival.
Gameplay Features and Modded Experience
The heart of SlimeSMP is the Tensura: Reincarnated mod, inspired by the popular anime and light novel series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Players can unlock powerful skills, discover unique abilities, and progress through an extensive character development system that goes far beyond vanilla Minecraft.
Alongside the RPG mechanics, the server includes several additional modifications that introduce automation, engineering, and colony management.
One of the most significant additions is Create, a technology-focused mod that allows players to design mechanical machines using gears, belts, shafts, rotational power, and automated factories. Instead of relying entirely on redstone, Create opens countless possibilities for creative engineering projects.
Another important feature is MineColonies, which lets players establish fully functional settlements populated by NPC citizens. Builders can construct towns, assign professions, expand infrastructure, and gradually transform a small village into a thriving civilization.
These technical systems work alongside the RPG mechanics without replacing the survival aspect of Minecraft. Players still gather resources, explore caves, defeat hostile mobs, and build their own bases while enjoying a much richer progression system.
Community events are organized regularly, providing opportunities for competitions, cooperative challenges, seasonal activities, and other special experiences that keep the server feeling active throughout the year.
Community Rules and Fair Play
SlimeSMP follows a hardcore-lite philosophy. While survival remains challenging, the server focuses on creating an enjoyable multiplayer environment rather than punishing players excessively for every mistake.
To maintain fair gameplay, the use of cheats or unfair modifications is strictly prohibited. Software such as X-Ray resource packs, KillAura, Freecam, automated combat tools, or any other client modifications that provide an unfair advantage are not allowed.
Players are expected to respect protected claims. Destroying, stealing from, or intentionally damaging another player’s claimed property is forbidden.
Player versus player combat is available, but PvP should remain respectful. Randomly targeting players without reason or repeatedly killing the same individual simply to harass them is not acceptable.
The server also includes an AFK timeout of five minutes. Attempting to bypass this system using macros, scripts, automated movement, or similar methods is prohibited.
Certain gameplay mechanics are restricted to preserve balance. Players should not intentionally die only to reroll unique abilities or obtain better starting traits through repeated suicides.
Respectful communication is equally important. Offensive behavior, excessive toxicity, harassment, hate speech, or disruptive chat messages are discouraged to ensure the community remains welcoming for everyone.
Server Policies and Community Expectations
Additional rules exist to prevent unfair interactions between players.
Teleport traps designed to kill players immediately after accepting a teleport request are not permitted. Using teleportation systems as a method of deception goes against the spirit of fair multiplayer gameplay.
Players should also avoid setting home locations inside another person’s base without permission for the purpose of stealing resources or launching surprise attacks later. Respect for personal builds and private areas is an important part of maintaining trust within the community.
The published rules serve as general guidelines rather than a complete list of every possible situation. Server administrators may address behaviors that negatively affect gameplay even if they are not specifically mentioned in the basic rule summary.
Because the community continues to grow, rules may occasionally change or expand over time. The most current version of the server rules is always available through the official Discord server, where announcements, updates, event information, and community discussions are regularly posted.
Whether you’re interested in RPG progression, advanced automation with Create, building your own colony using MineColonies, or participating in community-driven events, SlimeSMP offers a unique modded Minecraft experience designed for both new and experienced players alike.
